Online Referral for Services

(for victim service providers)

Not everyone who seeks our services is in need of residential support. We offer the community free and confidential advocacy services for survivors of domestic violence throughout Clarendon, Lee, and Sumter Counties.

Programs include community-based advocates and support groups for women, including specialized groups for Spanish speaking victims.

YWCA's Domestic Violence (DV) Advocacy programs protect the safety of survivors through community advocacy programs, support groups, and training for service providers. Advocates can assist with safety planning, referrals for food, clothing, and housing resources, and limited financial assistance.

Community-based advocates are located our Sumter office and we also meet clients in safe areas throughout the counties we serve. Spanish-speaking advocates are also available.

Outreach

Our outreach program focuses on providing knowledge and that together with an informed community we can eliminate domestic violence.

We strive to engage, educate and inspire community members to join us in this belief.

We offer a range of free trainings, presentations and workshops to spread awareness about domestic violence. Staff has provided information to businesses, employers, employees, church groups, civic organizations, schools, universities. All trainings are free.
